Economists to discuss 'Crisis on Wall Street'--UPDATED

A panel of Princeton economists will review recent events on Wall Street and assess their implications for the economy and public policy in a discussion titled "Crisis on Wall Street" at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, in McCosh 50. (NOTE: New location)
The panel will be chaired by Hyun Shin, the Hughes‐Rogers Professor of Economics and associate chair of the Department of Economics, and will include:
- Alan Blinder, the Gordon S. Rentschler Memorial Professor of Economics and Public Affairs and co‐director of the Center for Economic Policy Studies.
- Markus Brunnermeier, the Edwards S. Sanford Professor of Economics.
- Harrison Hong, the John Scully '66 Professor in Finance.
- Paul Krugman, professor of economics and international affairs.
The event is sponsored by the Department of Economics.
