Bin Laden family is subject of author's talk

"The Bin Ladens: An Arabian Family in the American Century" is the title of a talk by journalist and author Steve Coll set for 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, in Dodds Auditorium, Robertson Hall.
Coll is a staff writer for The New Yorker, covering issues of intelligence and national security. He previously was the managing editor and a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter at The Washington Post. Coll also was awarded a Pulitzer in 2004 for his book "Ghost Wars: The Secret History of the CIA, Afghanistan and Bin Laden, From the Soviet Invasion to Sept. 10, 2001." His most recent book is "The Bin Ladens: The Story of a Family and Its Fortune."
The lecture is sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
