Dancers on campus for tango festival

The second annual Princeton Tango Festival is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, Nov. 21-23, at various locations on campus.

The festival will bring five Argentine tango instructor couples and 200 dancers from universities on the East Coast for a weekend of workshops, practicas, milongas (tango dance parties) and performances. There also will be a free beginner bootcamp.

Organized by the Princeton Tango Club, the festival is sponsored by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Cultures, the Program in Latin American Studies, Program in Theater and Dance in the Lewis Center for the Arts and the Graduate Student Government.

Registration is requested. The bootcamp, practicas and milongas are free for those with a Princeton University ID; there is a fee for other events. To register and for more information, visit the festival website.
