Princeton University Players present Broadway musical 'Assassins'
The Princeton University Players will perform the acclaimed Broadway musical "Assassins" Thursdays through Saturdays, Feb. 26-28 and March 5-7, in the Class of 1970 Theater in Whitman College.
Show times are at 8 each evening, with an additional matinee at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7.
The musical, originally created by Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman, is a dark comedy that focuses on the assassins and attempted assassins of American presidents, examining the character and motives of these outsiders and outcasts. Directed by senior Brandon Lowden, the performances feature musical direction by sophomore Andrea Grody, choreography by senior Sarah Outhwaite, lighting design by sophomore Michael Gordon, costume design by junior Jane Dobkin and set design by senior Megan Thompson.
Tickets are $8 for students; $10 for faculty, staff and seniors; and $12 for the general public. They are available online through University Ticketing or by calling the Frist Campus Center ticket office at (609) 258-1742.
