The Princeton Shakespeare Company and Theatre Intime will join forces to present "King Lear," Thursdays through Saturdays, April 2-4 and 9-11, in the Hamilton-Murray Theater.
Showtimes will be at 8 each evening, with an additional a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11.
The production will be directed by junior Laura Fletcher. Shakespeare's tragedy tells the story of three daughters who are consumed by the nightmare of a mentally declining father and a vicious struggle for the throne, and an illegitimate son who seeks revenge against his dismissive family.
Tickets are $8 for students; $10 for senior citizens, faculty and staff; and $12 for general admission. They can be purchased online from University Ticketing, in person or by telephone at the Frist ticket office at (609) 258-1742, or in person at the theater box office 45 minutes prior to showtime.
