The Princeton Undergraduate Composers Collective will present its first spring concert at 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 17, in the Rockefeller College Common Room.
The collaborative group of composers is dedicated to helping each other improve their work and expand their musical ideas, primarily through weekly workshop sessions. They write in all styles and genres, and accept composers of any skill level.
The concert will offer members of the Princeton community a chance to listen to an evening of music written by Princeton students and performed by musicians from Princeton and the Juilliard School. The program will feature pieces from a broad range of musical styles, from pop to jazz to classical.
A dessert reception with the performers and composers will follow the concert.
