Painter Quaytman to discuss work

Painter Rebecca Quaytman will discuss her work in a lecture set for 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, in Room 219 of 185 Nassau St.

Quaytman directs the Orchard Gallery of New York City, a cooperatively organized exhibition and event space run by artists, filmmakers, critics, art historians and curators. Her work has been presented in solo exhibitions at the Spencer Brownstone Gallery in New York, Momenta Art in Brooklyn and Galerie Edward Mitterrand in Geneva. She teaches painting at Bard College.

The talk is sponsored by the Program in Visual Arts in the Lewis Center for the Arts.
