EMERGENCY-- Possible weapon on campus. Stay inside.

There is a report of a student with a possible weapon on Princeton's campus near McCosh Hall. Stay inside and do not go outside to travel to another building. Close and lock the doors and windows. Princeton's Department of Public Safety and Princeton Borough police are investigating. Public Safety will issue more instructions as information becomes available.

Princeton University's Department of Public Safety has confirmed that there is no threat to the campus following an investigation that ended with the determination that an individual was walking on campus with a toy gun. After first notifying the campus earlier in the morning of an unconfirmed report of a possible weapon on campus, the University at 8:34 a.m. posted an "all clear" message to its home page, followed by a message sent to the campus by Public Safety.

Normal activities resume at Princeton after early-morning incident; posted Sat., March 7, 3:38 a.m. .

Princeton University's Department of Public Safety has confirmed that there is no threat to the campus following an investigation that ended with the location of a male student found with a non-functional firearm in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 7. Public Safety at 1:20 a.m. issued an "all clear" message to the campus community after first notifying students earlier in the morning of an unconfirmed report of a weapon on campus.

EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION -- ALL CLEAR -- Updated 12:10 p.m. .

At 11:25 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, Princeton University's Department of Public Safety issued an all clear, and has reported there was no gunman on campus.

PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT: ALL PERSONS ON CAMPUS SHOULD REMAIN INSIDE, posted 12:42 a.m. .

At 12:40 a.m. Saturday, March 7, Public Safety has recommended that all persons remain inside until further notice. Do not go outside to travel to another building. Close and lock the doors and windows.

ALL CLEAR: SITUATION RESOLVED AND NORMAL ACTIVITIES MAY RESUME, POSTED 8:34 A.M. .

Public Safety at 8:34 a.m. has confirmed that there is no threat. Public Safety has issued an all clear, and members of the campus community can resume their normal activities. A toy water gun that resembled a real weapon was identified in relation to the previous unconfirmed report of a possible student-age male with a weapon. Unsubstantiated threat being investigated .

There is a report of an unsubstantiated bomb threat received at the New Chemistry Building construction site on Princeton's campus.

EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION .

Shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, a male with what appeared to be a handgun was reported near the vicinity of Dod Hall dormitory. Princeton University's Department of Public of Safety and Princeton Borough and Township police are investigating.
