Zelizer to discuss book on national security

Julian Zelizer, a professor of history and public affairs at Princeton, will discuss his new book, "Arsenal of Democracy: The Politics of National Security -- From World War II to the War on Terrorism," at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, in 16 Robertson Hall.
Zelizer is a leading figure in the field of American political history and a well-known public intellectual. He is the author and editor of several books that examine U.S. political leaders, policies and institutions since the New Deal. He currently is finishing work on three books: a history of the Jimmy Carter presidency, a history of the "Reagan Revolution" and an edited volume about the George W. Bush presidency. He also is a frequent commentator in the national and international media.
A book signing will follow the talk, which is sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
