Memorial service for Murphy planned for June 9

A memorial service for Walter F. Murphy, the McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence Emeritus, is set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, in the University Chapel. A reception will follow in the Chancellor Green Rotunda.
Murphy, a groundbreaking constitutional scholar who taught at Princeton for 37 years, died April 20 in Charleston, S.C., of cancer. He was 80. A full obituary is available online.
