Princeton men's squash team wins national championship

The Princeton University men's squash team won the national championship on Sunday, Feb. 19, with a 5-4 victory over Trinity College, ending Trinity's 13-year title streak.

Princeton senior Kelly Shannon capped the Tigers' comeback with a victory over Trinity's Reinhold Hergeth in front of a packed crowd at Jadwin Gymnasium. The win marked Princeton's first national title in men's squash since 1993.   The win also extended Princeton's streak of consecutive years with either an individual or team national championship to 41.   For more details, visit the Princeton Athletics website.
