Name: Donald Snook

Position: Food service storekeeper in Dining Services. Receiving, inspecting and storing incoming food items at the Forbes College dining hall. Supplying menu ingredients to the dining hall cooks and chefs. Picking up local vendors' food items from Dining Services' main office and taking them to Forbes. Assisting in the taking and management of inventory.

Quote: "I learn something every day — from the drivers, from the food that comes in, and from talking to the cooks and chefs. I generally work alone, but I have to take food to the cooks as well, where there's all this action. The kitchen is alive with people cooking and students getting food. My grandparents had a luncheonette and my earliest memories are being there. One of my aunts had a restaurant, and we lived above the restaurant for a while. I realized later on in life, when I started to do catering and restaurant work, that there was this connection to when I was growing up."

Other interests: Volunteering as a community disc jockey at WPRB, the student-run Princeton radio station. Volunteering as a mechanic at Cyclab, Princeton's bicycle cooperative. Learning to surf. Collecting records and musical instruments. Playing guitar.
