Museum event to celebrate Latino arts

"Latinos in the Museum," part of the University's Latino Heritage Month celebration, will feature "Campaigns of Clay and Caucus: Sociopolitical and Artistic Inferences of Classic Maya Feasting Pottery," a lecture by Dorie Reents-Budet, the curator of the Arts of the Ancient Americas at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Smithsonian Institution, at 7 p.m. in McCormick Hall, Room 101, followed by a reception, a student tour of the exhibition "Dancing into Dreams: Maya Vase Painting of the Ik' Kingdom" at the Princeton University Art Museum and a presentation by Ballet Folklórico de Princeton.
