Classes resume; NJ Transit running buses in place of Dinky

Classes and normally scheduled operations resumed in full at the University on Monday.

While New Jersey Transit trains were running on a modified schedule along the Northeast Corridor line between New York and Trenton, the Dinky line between Princeton Junction and Princeton station on campus was still not operating. New Jersey Transit began running shuttle buses in place of the train.

The University's TigerTransit system ran shuttle buses between the junction and campus from Friday through Sunday. Those shuttles stopped once New Jersey Transit began shuttling passengers.

While power was fully restored to buildings on campus as of Thursday, a few off-campus University buildings remained without power Monday morning: 755 Alexander Road, Ferris Thompson Apartments, Lawrence Apartments Buildings 2-14, Stanworth Apartments and the Shea Rowing Center.

[UPDATE: 4:45 p.m. Monday: power was restored Monday afternoon to Stanworth and Lawrence apartments.]
