Mahmood Mamdani, the Herbert Lehman Professor of Government at Columbia University and professor and director of the Makerere Institute of Social Research at Makerere University in Uganda, will present the 10th annual Edward W. Said '57 Memorial Lecture on "Settler Colonialism: Then and Now" at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in McCosh Hall, Room 10.
