Classical music concerts offer a trio of performances
Three concerts presented by the Department of Music and Princeton University Concerts will take place Sunday through Tuesday, April 7-9. The Brentano String Quartet, the Edward T. Cone Performers-in-Residence, will appear at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, in Richardson Auditorium, Alexander Hall. The Choir of King's College, the University of Cambridge, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 8, in the Princeton University Chapel. Pianist Inon Barnatan will appear at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, in Richardson Auditorium. Barnatan's concert will mark 100 years since former Princeton president Woodrow Wilson entered the White House as president and recreates a concert that pianist/composer Ignacy Paderewski — a longtime friend of Wilson — gave at Princeton in honor of Wilson after his death. For tickets to all concerts (the Brentano concert is free but requires a ticket), call University Ticketing at 609-258-9220.
