Symposium to honor Princeton historian of science

"Vital Traditions: Greco-Roman Medicine and the Life Sciences in the 21st Century: A Conference in Honor of Heinrich von Staden" will take place on Friday and Saturday, April 19 and 20, in East Pyne Hall, Room 010. The symposium will feature talks by nine leading figures in ancient and medieval science and medicine and celebrates the contributions of Heinrich von Staden, former lecturer with the rank of professor of classics at Princeton. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 19, and from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.
