Symposium to cover severity of recent and future hurricanes

Recent and future hurricanes will be the topic of the "Symposium on Risk Assessment, Hurricanes and Coastal Hazards," to be begin at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30, in McCormick Hall, Room 101. Sponsored by the Princeton Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the talk and panel sessions will cover recent storms such as hurricanes Sandy and Irene, hurricane risk assessment, and the effects of climate change on storm severity, among other areas.
