Additional meningitis B vaccine clinics scheduled

Additional meningitis B vaccine clinics have been scheduled in January and February for eligible University community members who need a first or second dose of the vaccine.
Individuals who were not vaccinated on campus in December 2013 may receive the first dose of the vaccine from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 15-16, in the Frist Campus Center, Level B multipurpose rooms.
A second dose of the vaccine will be available from noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Feb. 17-20, in the Frist Campus Center, Level B multipurpose rooms. Two doses of the vaccine are needed for maximum protection against meningitis B.
Students leaving for or returning from study abroad will be contacted individually to discuss dates to receive both doses of the vaccine on campus.
