Symposium to focus on 'Speaking Knowledge to Power'
America's future depends on reaffirming its role as the world's engine of scientific discovery and innovation. But how do scientists put such knowledge into action? And what role should scientists play within the arena of public policy? The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists will host a symposium to address such issues titled, "Speaking Knowledge to Power," at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in Dodds Auditorium, Robertson Hall. The symposium will feature a keynote address by John Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
