Three members of the Princeton faculty have been awarded fellowships from the American Council of Learned Societies, which funds humanistic research.

This year the council provided awards totaling more than $15 million to more than 300 scholars. Princeton's recipients, along with the titles of their research projects, are:

Devin Fore, associate professor of German, "All the Graphs: Soviet Factography and the Emergence of Avant-Garde Documentary"

Robert Kaster, professor of classics, "A New Critical Edition of Suetonius' 'Lives of the Caesars'"

Judith Weisenfeld, professor of religion, "Apostles of Race: Religion and Black Racial Identity in the Urban North, 1920-1950"
