FACULTY HONOR: Three faculty receive Berlin Prize Fellowships

Beatriz Colomina, professor of architecture and co-director of the Program in Media and Modernity; Sean Wilentz, the George Henry Davis 1886 Professor of American History; and Adam Ross, the Hodder Fellow in the Program in Creative Writing, are among the 25 recipients of the Berlin Prize Fellowship for the fall 2014 and spring 2015 terms. Awarded by the American Academy in Berlin to scholars, writers and artists who represent the highest standards of excellence in their fields, the prize includes a monthly stipend, partial board and residence at the Academy's Hans Arnhold Center in Berlin-Wannsee. Colomina received a fall 2014 fellowship for her project "Couplings: The Secret Life of Modern Architecture." Ross received a fall fellowship for his project "Playworld." Wilentz, a spring 2015 fellow, received the prize for his project "The Politics of American Antislavery."
