Symposium will examine gender and public discourse

A symposium on gender and public discourse, “More Than MADWOMEN: Examining Gender in Public Discourse,” will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, in McCormick Hall, Room 101. The event is being presented as part of a new Program in Gender and Sexuality Studies course, "Feminist Media Studies/Media Representations of Feminism," taught by Associate Research Scholar Melissa Deem. Students in the course will speak about a range of topics, followed by a discussion and reception.
