Princeton French Theater Festival to feature diverse performances
The third annual French Theater Festival "Seuls en Scène," featuring 10 diverse performances of classical and contemporary theater works in French, will run Sept. 15-Oct. 11 at venues across the University's campus. The festival brings celebrated French actors and directors to the University. This year's festival includes a hit from the 2013 Avignon Theater Festival, a preview of a new monologue to premiere in France in November and rarely staged texts. Discussions with the artistic teams will follow many performances. The festival is organized by Florent Masse, senior lecturer in the Department of French and Italian. During the festival, visiting artists will offer master classes and coaching for Princeton students, as well as participate in theater classes.
