Ten members of Princeton's recently graduated Class of 2014, seven graduate students and five recent alumni have been awarded Fulbright grants to study or teach abroad for the 2014-15 academic year.
The 2014 graduates and the countries in which they will be studying and teaching are: Quinton Beck, Tajikistan; Maxim Botstein, Germany; Molly Gibson, Brazil; Sohee Khim, South Korea; Neelay Patil, Spain; Sara Rubin, Israel; Dina Sharon, Israel; Rebecca Smaha, Spain; Stanley Yuan, South Korea; and Evangelie Zachos, Germany.
The graduate students are: Daniel Barish, China; Timothy Benedict, Japan; Jennifer Guyton, Mozambique; Thomas Mazanec, China; Henry Shapiro, Armenia; Jill Stockwell, Germany; and Ron Wilson, Japan.
The recent alumni are: Amelia Bensch-Schaus, Class of 2013, Germany; Thomas Ledford, Class of 2013, Turkey; Thomas Merckens, Class of 2013, South Korea; Alexander Simon, Class of 2012, Jordan; and Audrye Wong, Class of 2013, South Korea.
The Fulbright program was established in 1946 and is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education. The program provides funding for more than 1,900 American students to study, teach or conduct research abroad.
