University monitoring advance of winter storm

With a major storm heading toward campus, Princeton University officials are monitoring forecasts and the storm's progress.

An update about University operations will be posted Saturday by 6 a.m. on the University homepage and on the SNOW line, 609-258-SNOW (7669).

Anyone driving to campus Friday evening or Saturday is asked to park in either the North or West garages.

The TigerTransit "Saturday shopper" buses have been canceled. Dillon Gymnasium will be closed on Saturday.

No classes are scheduled Saturday as the intercession period between the fall and spring semesters begins.

Note: Future notices on operations will also be sent via the Princeton Telephone and E-Mail Notification System (PTENS) to the those who have opted to receive messages about snow closings. Faculty, students and staff may check their preferences and sign up to receive such notices on the PTENS portal.
