West, George to discuss 'What Is the Point of Liberal Arts Education?'

Cornel West, the Class of 1943 University Professor in the Center for African American Studies, Emeritus, and lecturer with the rank of professor in politics and the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions, and Robert George, the McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and director of the James Madison Program, will hold a discussion titled "What Is the Point of Liberal Arts Education?" at  5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, in  McCosh Hall, Room 50.
