Community and staff serve up well wishes for students taking exams

Familiar faces from everyday places around the community and campus share good luck messages and study tips for undergraduate students preparing for first-semester exams beginning Wednesday, Jan. 18.

This video features employees from local businesses including (in order of appearance) Hoagie Haven, The Bent Spoon, Princeton University Store, Labyrinth Books, Jammin' Crepes, Wawa, Princeton Garden Theatre and Princeton Pi. Other familiar faces include Princeton Mayor Liz Lempert, women's volleyball Coach Sabrina King of the Class of 2001, and University employees from Campus Dining, Career Services and the Department of Public Safety.

Final exams run through Jan. 28. Meanwhile, graduate student Ph.D. exams are underway through Jan. 27.

Month of Service allows campus to engage with local community .

Whether packing up donated food, working with nursery school children on a winter craft or tutoring middle school students after school, Princeton University students, staff and faculty have been busy this January engaging with the local community as a part of the Pace Center for Civic Engagement's Month of Service. Themed around the idea that "community matters," the Month of Service celebrates the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the 15th anniversary of the Pace Center.
