Submit Events: Overview

Use this submission form to promote official campus events on the University’s main website. A separate form exists for submitting news items and awards notices. These submission forms are visible to users on the campus network (princeton.edu). They also can be accessed off-campus by logging in with a Princeton netID and password. If you would like to promote an official campus event and cannot access the form, send an email to the editor.

Please read the following policies before submitting your event announcements.


Policies

  • Only events sponsored by a University entity and taking place on campus are considered.
  • Priority is given to those events with broad appeal to the University community as well as those that showcase its diversity.
  • Events must be submitted at least one week prior to their start date in order to be considered for an announcement on the University's main website.
  • Featured event announcements typically are brief summaries that include a link to the event sponsor's website for more information. Submissions must include a link that indicates where readers can find the most complete information about the event.
  • Given the volume of event listings, featured events are posted in chronological order. While the four most immediate events will appear on the home page, the full list of featured events can be viewed by clicking the "All Featured Events" link on the home page. Events will rise higher on the list as prior events expire.
  • Due to the heavy volume of requests, not all events submitted will be posted.

The Princeton University Bulletin no longer runs a weekly calendar of events. Calendar notices for events can be posted on the University's Public Events Calendar. (For questions about the Public Events Calendar, contact the Office of University Scheduling at uschedul@princeton.edu.)
