Research at Princeton
One of the world’s great research centers, Princeton University is the site of pioneering work across all academic areas, from nanotechnology to politics. Today’s research increasingly transcends disciplinary boundaries, and Princeton excels in this new environment, with leading research centers in fields such as neuroscience, materials science and genomics.
Princeton researchers benefit greatly from the University’s longstanding ties with the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, NOAA’s Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory and the Institute for Advanced Study. In fiscal year 2007, Princeton received approximately $220 million in research funding from government agencies, foundations and corporate partners.
