Andrew Bocarsly is a Professor of Chemistry and longtime Mathey advisor. He teaches General Chemistry undergraduate courses and conducts research in inorganic physical chemistry. His research group invented an electrochemical and photoelectrochemical process to convert carbon dioxide to organic products. The process has been licensed by Liquid Light Inc., established in October 2009, which is making rapid progress toward the establishment of a viable technology.
