Henry Farber is the Hughes-Rogers Professor of Economics. Professor Farber's current research interests include the economics of labor unions, worker mobility, wage dynamics, the role of information in labor markets, the analysis of dispute settlement mechanisms (including arbitration and litigation), and the analysis of voter behavior. Prof. Farber is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, an Associate Editor of the Industrial and Labor Relations Review, and a Fellow of the Econometric Society. Before joining the Princeton faculty in 1991, Farber was Professor of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1977-91).
