Hi everyone!
Hi everyone!
I'm a senior majoring in Economics with certificates in Values and Public Life (VPL) and Finance. Coming into Princeton, I wasn't quite set on any major, but my favorite fields were math and social sciences, hence Economics was quite a natural choice for me. I am also quite interested in ethics and public policy, after taking the class, Ethics and Public Policy, so I decided to pursue the Values and Public Life Certificate with a focus on the intersection of economics and ethics. I wrote my junior economics independent work on urban crime and its impact on higher education, and my focus for my VPL independent work will be on organ donation allocation and ethical issues involved.
On campus, I've been involved in several organizations, including writing for the Daily Prince, the Princeton Entrepreneurship Club, Leadership for Change, and founding Princeton's chapter of Smart Woman Securities (a national organization on personal finance and investing). I love music and playing violin in my spare time. If you have any questions about Econ as a major, or any of my certificates and extracurricular activities, feel free to email me or find me! Welcome to Princeton!
