Anjali Menon
I am a junior majoring in Economics and pursuing a certificate in Global Health & Health Policy. My areas of interest include health reform, international health systems, and global sanitation & hygiene initiatives. I have always been interested in medicine and did not plan to major in economics when entering college. However, I took a variety of interesting courses in the department my first two years and found that economics lets me see medicine in a new light. It provides a macro-level perspective on the healthcare industry that presents opportunities to improve the medical care delivery at a much larger scale. I am also fulfilling requirements for medical school and can answer any questions about that process.
On campus, I like to stay engaged. I am a senior writer for the Daily Princetonian, a consultant with the Princeton Analytics Group, Director of Analytics for Business Today, a classical dance choreographer for Naacho, and a board member of the Princeton Hindu Satsangam. I love sports, good food, and classic movies. I am living in Edwards this fall and will be studying abroad at Oxford University in the spring. From major choices and course selection to maintaining a balanced life while staying involved, I have been through it all. Please feel free to reach out at any time. I look forward to hearing from you!
