Michael Pretko
My name is Michael Pretko, and I am a senior hailing from Pennsylvania. Originally a Rockyite, I have since defected to Mathey College. My concentration is in physics. Specifically, I’m working now in condensed matter theory, though I’ve dabbled in plasma physics and fluid dynamics, both theoretical and computational. I have interests in superconductivity and fusion energy. Some of my favorite courses at Princeton have been PHY 301 (Thermal Physics), PHY 304 (Electromagnetism), PHY 405 (Condensed Matter), MAT 317 (Complex Analysis with Applications), and COS 126 (General Computer Science). I’m happy to field any questions about physics, whether it’s about choosing classes, getting involved in summer research, or department life in general. Feel free to send me an e-mail or hunt me down in the dining hall.
