I entered Princeton with three years of high-school German and knowing I wanted to study international relations –some primary academic interests lie specifically in European politics and history. The Woodrow Wilson School was for me, as it continues to be for many, a goal. Yet through the course of my schoolwork freshman year, I began to question what I was putting myself through in order to prepare myself for an academic program that I realized was not for me, despite its potential to permit me to study something I was genuinely fascinated by. Through a series of conversations, I became aware of the possibility to study politics in a joint program between the German and Politics departments that was not only just for me, but practically asking me to join. Needless to say, I knew I wanted to start right away. I completed the Princeton in Munich program between freshman and sophomore years, declared my major early, and even completed an internship in the German government this summer! With my acceptance into the Visual Arts certificate program, I was ecstatic that I could pursue seriously my other passion, and the European Cultural Studies certificate could allow me to study the arts, culture, history, and politics combined.
I love making things (art, conversation, food), and encourage you to get in touch.
