In my first two years at Princeton, I considered majoring in English, Psychology, and Religion and getting a certificate in Computer Science and Creative Writing. Sophomore spring, I decided to concentrate on English, and I have had no regrets; I've also enjoyed continuing taking courses in other departments and staying connected with my Religion and Psychology professors.
On campus, I love being involved with the literary and arts community. I currently serve as an Editor-in-Chief for the Nassau Literary Review, board member of the Writers' Studio, and I have enjoyed taking several prose workshops with the Lewis Center. I've also discovered that Princeton has a wealth of opportunities to work with professors and conduct independent research; this past year, I worked as research assistant for the Social Norms Lab, as well as for one of my English professors. Finally, I am involved in Princeton Against Sex Trafficking and a couple of the Christian fellowship groups on campus. Other activities that I've been involved in are the English Department Student Advisory Council, International Internship Program, Behrman Undergraduate Society of Fellows, and Quadrangle Eating Club. Feel free to ask me about any of them!
