Sarah Tang
I'm currently a senior in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department, with certificates in Applications of Computing and Robotics and Intelligent Systems. While I entered Princeton knowing my major, my specific interests changed quite a bit throughout my first two years at Princeton, from space applications to software engineering to computer graphics. Ultimately, I found that I love robotics more than anything else in the world, and plan to get a PhD in robotics, specifically in multi-robot systems, after graduation. I've done research internships for all 3 of my summers at Princeton, did 2 semesters of junior independent work, and am further pursing a senior thesis, so I'd love to especially chat with anyone about the research world, the good, bad, and ugly, and help you decide whether it's right for you. However, I'm obviously here to talk about anything and everything else you might need!
Outside of academics, I am involved in Princeton Engineering Education for Kids (PEEK), Community House, the Chinese-American Princeton Siblings (CAPS) program, am a Peer Health Adviser, Engineering Interactor, and I dance with Triple 8 Dance company. I will also be living in Mathey next year and will be around the dining hall fairly often, so feel free to say hi. I love meeting new people, so please contact me anytime if you want to grab coffee/ice-cream/bubble tea/lunch/dinner/food of any sort and chat!
