How do I order photocopies or PDF scans?
If you visit the Mudd Manuscript Library, a member of our staff will be happy to show you how to identify materials for copying or scanning and how to submit your photoduplication order.
You may also order photocopies or PDF scans without visiting the Mudd Library. To do so please follow these instructions:
If you wish to order copies of the contents of entire folders, complete our photoduplication order form which can be downloaded here. Begin by identifying the collection and the box and folder number of what you want copied. If there is a folder title, include that information as well. To receive PDF scans, please select the appropriate box on this order form. For additional information, please carefully read the second page of the order form.
When you have completed the form, send your request via email or surface mail to the Mudd Library, 65 Olden Street, Princeton, NJ 08540. (Please include your name, mailing address, phone number, fax number, and email address.)
Once we have received your form, a member of our staff will estimate the total number of pages in your order and send you the completed photoduplication order form. Photocopy prices are available online.
Return the signed form with your payment (check drawn on a U.S. account or a money order) to the Mudd Manuscript Library. If you wish to pay by credit card, please email a copy of the completed order form to the Mudd Library, and we will send you an electronic invoice. Please include your credit card billing address in your email, and, if different, your shipping address. Please do not send your credit card information.
A member of our staff will copy the materials and mail them to you. If PDF scans are requested, we will deliver the order files to you electronically though a web-based file sharing site. Requests are usually completed within three weeks from the date of your order and when payment is received.
