LECTURE: "MOZART'S GRACE" WITH SCOTT BURNHAM
The Goldansky Institute International Piano Festival 2013

This presentation will explore the nature of beauty and expressivity in Mozart, with special attention to his piano music. We will listen for elements such as sonority, line, dissonance, and various types of thematic renewal, sampling a variety of sonatas, concertos, and occasional pieces.

Faure: Piano Trio in D Minor, Op. 120
Schumann: 6 Canons, Opus 56 (arr. by Theodor Kirchner)
Beethoven: Piano Trio No. 1 in E-flat Minor, Opus. 1
The Princeton University Summer Chamber Concerts are FREE to attend.
Tickets are distributed the evening of the performance at the Richardson Auditorium Box Office in Alexander Hall on the Princeton University campus.
There is a maximum of four (4) free tickets per person.
The Box Office opens at 6:30 pm.
Doors will open at 7:30.
