PRINCETON OPERA COMPANY
What would happen if Cinderella didn't want to go to the ball? What if her stepsisters were the virtuous and beautiful ones? What if her Fairy Godmother were confused? And what if the Prince didn't have the courage to ask her to marry him?
The Princeton Opera Company presents its first fully staged opera "Meanwhile, Back at Cinderella's," a farcical romp that lasts for an hour that is packed with shoes lost on purpose, ostentatious heralding, and the most awkward duet known to fairy tale couples. The music and storyline are accessible for all ages, from children to adults, and will be performed in English.
Tickets are $7 for students and $10 for adults (Passport to the Arts accepted). Contact University Ticketing at www.princeton.edu/utickets to purchase tickets; cash only at the door.
