Education: MM, Yale University School of Music, BA The Juilliard School Studied with Ronald Copes, Dorothy DeLay, Masao Kawasaki, Peter Oundjian, Margaret Pardee, and Joel Smirnoff.
Concert Credits: Top prize and awards from the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, Marcia Polayes National Competition, Menuhin International Competition, E. Nakamichi Violin Competition, the Alliance Northeast Competition, the Woolsey Hall Competition at Yale University, the Juilliard Concerto Competition and the Seventeen Magazine/General Motors National Competition. Solo performances include New York debut at Avery Fisher Hall under the direction of Kurt Masur and the grand opening of the Harris Concert Hall in Aspen, Colorado with violinist Pinchas Zukerman. Chamber music highlights include the world premier of Ned Rorem's "Aftermath" for baritone and piano trio at the Ravinia Festival followed by the NY premier at the Lyric Chamber Music Society. Performances on Caramoor Music Festival's Rising Star Series, at Carnegie-Weill Recital Hall by the Norfolk Music Festival, Chamber Music at Yale, and a tour of Israel, Greece, and Turkey presented by the Ravinia Festival. Appears frequently with the ensemble Concertante, the American Chamber Players, and the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players. Regularly tours in duo recital with organist Ken Cowan.
Teaching Experience: Adjunct Faculty at The Lawrenceville School since 2004.
