Louis Sudler Prize in the Arts
The prize of $1,000 is awarded annually “to a graduating senior who has demonstrated excellence, or the highest standard of proficiency, in performance or execution in the field of composition, in one of the following general areas: music, theater, dance, painting, sculpture, or photography.” (Nominations by faculty only)

Edward T. Cone Memorial Prize of $500 is in memory of Edward T. Cone, a faculty member in this department who was a music theorist, composer, and performer—an engaging and thoughtful musician and musical thinker. The Cone Prize is awarded annually to a graduating senior from the Music Department who exhibits a similar breadth and depth of interests.
