Learn and reflect on the beautiful message of the Qur’an with Muslim Chaplain and author, Imam Sohaib Sultan, in an interactive 6-session seminar hosted at IIIS (Institute of Islamic Studies): 379 Princeton Hightstown Rd, Cranbury, NJ 08512

- Learn how to engage and study the Qur’an.
- Reflect on the major themes and stories in the Qur’an.
- Understand the various sciences of Qur’anic interpretation.
- Memorize passages and key concepts found in the Qur’an.
- Experience living the Qur’an as a guide to daily life.
- Meet local scholars and teachers of the Qur’an as guest speakers.
Monday evenings: October 15, 22 and November 5, 12, 19, 26 | 7:00 - 9.30 PM
$150 fee/student.

About the Instructor:
SOHAIB SULTAN is the first full-time Muslim Life Coordinator and Chaplain at Princeton University. He is a graduate of the Hartford Theological Seminary earning a Masters in Islamic Studies & Christian-Muslim Relations, and a Graduate Certificate in Islamic Chaplaincy. Sultan is the author of The Koran for Dummies (Wiley, 2004) and The Qur’an and Sayings of Prophet Muhammad: Selections Annotated and Explained (Skylight Paths Publishing, 2007). He is also the author of several published articles and continues to write for various religious and secular publications. Sultan is also a public lecturer on Islam traveling across the States to speak at universities, libraries, and various religious institutions.
