On Saturday, May 28, 2011 the Princeton Neuroscience Institute welcomed the high school aged children of the Class of 1981 to a Neuroimaging Workshop including an fMRI demonstration. Over 25 future neuroscientists attended and were inspired by the presentation.

In their study analyzing the re-organization of visual representations in an agnosic patient impaired in object recognition following a lesion to the right lateral fusiform gyrus, Sabine Kastner and colleagues show that functional neural plasticity is possible even when a cortical lesion is sustained in adulthood.
On May 30th the Neuroscience Institute celebrated the accomplishments of the graduating seniors in the Neuroscience Certificate Program. This year we had 38 students from various majors receiving the certificate. Several awards were given at the Class Day Ceremony.
