Hoffman Scholars Presentation Honors Outstanding Graduate Students
The Alumni Council’s Committee on Academic Programs for Alumni (CAPA) is proud to sponsor the 2011 Hoffman Scholars Presentation, which will honor outstanding graduate students and introduce their work to Princeton’s alumni and friend community.
The three recipients have all accepted the honor and are looking forward to presenting fifteen-minute talks on their research and taking questions from attendees in an event on April 14. The three students and their dissertation topics are:
- Timothy J. Attanucci, German: “Inserts in the Book of Nature: Geology and Reconstruction in Adalbert Stifter's Indian Summer (1857)”
- Chandramouli Chandrasekaran, Psychology: “How Primates Use Faces to Hear Better”
- Varun Kumar, Chemical and Biological Engineering: "Nanocarriers for Therapeutics Delivery"
This special event, introduced by Dean Bill Russel, will be held on Thursday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. in 004 Friend Center. These presentations are meant for a general audience and a brief dessert reception will follow, giving you the opportunity to interact with these exceptional students.
