Profile
My laboratory was formerly concerned primarily with the functions of the cerebral cortex in visually guided behavior and pattern recognition especially the functions of inferior temporal cortex. I am now involved mostly in teaching and writing about the history of the neurosciences and about neuroethics, the consideration of ethical problems raised by developments in neuroscience.
