Faculty members submit resignations

Eight faculty members have submitted their resignations.

  • Peter Andolfatto, professor of ecology and evolutionary biology and the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics, to accept a position at Columbia University, effective July 1;
  • Jeffrey Eugenides, professor of creative writing in the Lewis Center for the Arts, to accept a position at New York University, effective Sept. 1;
  • Margaret Frye, assistant professor of sociology, to accept a position at the University of Michigan, effective Sept. 1;
  • Samory Kpotufe, assistant professor of operations research and financial engineering, to accept a position at Columbia, effective Feb. 1, 2019;
  • Ellis Monk, assistant professor of sociology, to accept a position at Harvard University, effective July 1;
  • Daniel Steingart, associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering and the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, to accept a position at Columbia, effective Feb. 1, 2019;
  • Tom Vogl, assistant professor of economics and the Woodrow Wilson School, to accept a position at the University of Texas at Austin, effective Sept. 1;
  • Michael Zaletel, assistant professor of physics, to accept a position at the University of California-Berkeley, effective July 15.
