Hardware

The New Media Center provides the latest state of the art digital media hardware at Princeton University.

The NMC offers faculty the ability to do voice-over lecture capture for courses. The audio room has soundproofing treatment, both MAC and PC as well as high-end digital recording devices. ScreenFlow for the MAC and Camtasia for the PC record any activity occurring on the monitor, while your voice is recorded using an attached microphone. The resulting recordings can be uploaded to Blackboard using Kaltura or YouTube.

Our 1500-square-foot facility holds 25 Computers, all named after famous directors.
