Sorat oversees programming and educational application of the New Media Center, expanding the mission of the New Media Center to become a leading center for excellence in the application of technology to learning. He hires, trains, and supervises undergraduate lab consultants. He works closely with undergraduate and graduate students to provide purposeful, effective use of technology in courses and applying academic technologies in independent research. He has over 15 years of experience in instructional design, web development, video editing, and 3D modeling. Sorat joined Princeton University in Spring of 2004 and is a Wilson College Fellow. He received an MA from Teachers College, Columbia University, with a research concentration in motivation and engagement in online education.

Paula L. Brett
Paula came to Princeton in 1994 as a Multimedia Specialist in the newly formed NMC. She spent 5 years in the NMC before taking a position with the Educational Technologies Center working on faculty academic websites and projects. Since 2004 she managed those projects using OIT's Project Planning Methodology.She rejoined the NMC as manager in 2008.
Prior to Princeton, she worked for Intel Corporation as a digital video specialist working primarily on mainframes to convert analog to digital.
